Network-based set-up, control and maintenance for projectiondesign’s entire projector and MIPS™ processor ranges.   The new software is designed for managing an unlimited number of projectors from a single site, using standard TCP/IP or RS232 communication.   It includes tools for accurate colour calibration, efficient network-based management and also pixel-perfect blending and geometry correction when used with the company’s Multi-image Processing System™ (MIPS™).   ProNet 2.0 is compatible with the entire range of projectiondesign projectors and MIPS™ processors, and includes management features which will maximise their use, minimize downtime, and therefore increase the return on investment, all without unnecessary wiring, additional hardware or programming.   ProNet 2.0 is available in the following configurations: ProNet.enterprise For projector management across multiple sites ProNet.enterprise manages and consolidates reporting from an unlimited number of licensed projector installations, enabling easy planning and budgeting of consumables, such as lamps or filters; it also monitors and alerts required or configured maintenance intervals.   ProNet.calibrator ProNet.calibrator is an add-on to the ProNet suite and is designed to simplify projector calibration to imaging standards such as REC.709 and DCI, and make it easy to perform colour- and gain-matching across multiple projectors used in applications such as simulator or dome. ProNet.calibrator reduces system set-up to a fraction of the time needed for standard calibration methods.   ProNet.MIPS – set up for multiple image process, warp and edge blend ProNet.MIPS is a set-up tool for the MIPS processor. It is a single interface that provides easy access to all MIPS features and enables pixel-perfect setup of projected images on any surface or in any configuration. At the same time it asset manages any number of MIPS processors and projectors.   ProNet.site for multiple sites and challenging applications Finally ProNet.site is ideal for managing several projectors in a single location or in complex multi-channel installations such as domes and simulators, where periodic maintenance and monitoring can be a challenge. It features configurable scripting and management tools, as well as a reporting tool to the centralised ProNet.enterprise.   ENDS   DLP is a registered trademark of Texas Instruments   About projectiondesign projectiondesign is a Norwegian company that designs, manufactures and markets a range of high performance projectors for professional, business and consumer applications.
