Volvo AB Visualisation Wall

International truck and car manufacturer Volvo AB has installed the world's largest seamless visualisation wall, 7x5m (23x16ft) for true to life, 1:1 size visualisation of trucks. The system uses a total of 16 F3+ SXGA+ projetors, for a >15 MegaPixel display. The F3+ projectors are matched to give a uniform, bright high contrast picture. Volvo plan to extend the installation to adding another 16 projectors, in order to have a full, seamless stereo visualisation wall. This application is courtesy of Cyviz AS.

Opel (GM) Design & Visualisation Room

GM car manufacturer Opel utilises a six-projector configuration of the Cyviz clusterwall, courtesy of Cyviz AS to visualize new designs in life size, ultra high resolution images during design and development phases of new cars. Seamlessly projecting from the rear, using colour matching, blending and calibration, the 7 Megapixel image is 2m wide and 1m tall, for outstanding image detail and quality.

Shell Visualisation Room, Australia

Four F1+ SXGA+ projectors are mounted in a rear screen projection cabinet, for a total resolution of 2660x1050 showing passive stereo visualisation of oil and gas geological data for Shell. The thought behind is very simple; you can crunch as many numbers, and calculate as much data you want, but without being able to visualise and see it, it is worthless. The solution is based on Cyviz xpo stereo converters, and proprietary blending for a seamless image.
