CPS Platinum

Platinum is the highest achievable level of projectiondesign product specialist certification. Platinum is divided into several sub levels, each focusing specially on certain product features or applications.

Completing one or more of these levels provide a deep technical understanding of relevant products, technically and commercially, as well as specialization within one or more product-, application- or technology categories. The Certified Product Specialist will be able to support projectiondesign products at any application level within the specialisation.

Classes

CPS Platinum RealColor™ Calibration & Colour Matching

This CPS Platinum Level class gives in-depth theoretical training and hands-on exercises in calibration and colour matching of projectors using projectiondesign RealColor colour management software suite.

The class provides information on colour science, how the human eye percieves colour, colour space definitions, CIE Chart, colour gamuts, white point definitions, color temperature, calibration with/without BrilliantColor™ and relevant equipment needed to perform calibration and colour matching.

The class covers the use of ProNet.calibrator software, our dedicated software to perform automated calibration and colour matching.

Learning objectives; upon completing this class, attendees will be able to…

• understand colour science relevant to projection
• use RealColor™ to perform hands on calibration of our projectors
• plan and perform colour matching of a number of projectors in multi-channel installations

Target audience

• Installation professionals, Product Specialists, Consultants & planners, Project Managers, System Integration Engineers, Field Engineers

Pre-requisites
In order to achieve valid CPS Platinum training points for your Product Specialist Application, the CPS Silver and CPS Gold Level trainings must be passed prior to attending the class.

Duration
The class duration is a full day, including extensive practical hands-on exercises.

CPS Platinum 3D Stereoscopic Imaging

Understand 3D stereoscopic imaging and it's benefits, highlighting real world uses and installations across the world.

CPS Platinum Multi Image Processor Day 1-2

The class gives in-depth theoretical knowledge and hours in the workshop with our Blend and Warp image processors; WB Series. The class covers the use of ProNet as a systems design tool for project management, administration of devices, file and state handling, as well as simple and advanced edge blending and the use of different algorithms for warping and geometrical corrections.

The class covers the use of Bezier curves, their vectors and options, our patented Black Level Matching™, and different scaling filters such as Lanczos, B-Spline, C-Spline and Linear.

You will go through a number of exercises during the two-day training, learning everything from a simple two-channel flat surface blend, to more complex multi-channel curved or spherical installations.

On request you have the option to stay on a third day where you will have full access to our test lab, including an infinite numbers of projectors and WB devices. The optional day allows you to prepare for your own projects.

Learning objectives; upon completing this class, attendees will be able to…

• Setup and configure a multi-channel system using our WB Series
• Create perfect edge blending using simple or advanced features
• Create pixel perfect warping on flat, cylindrical and spherical screens
• Safely administrate a complete project with multiple devices, configuration profiles and resolutions

Target audience

• Installation professionals, Product Specialists, Consultants & planners, Project Managers, System Integration Engineers, Field Engineers

Pre-requisites
CPS Silver and CPS Gold Level trainings must be passed prior to attending the class.

Duration
The class duration is two days (three on request). To document your knowledge, a set of practical hands on tasks is to be completed under supervision.
